Thomas J Lueken

Thomas (Tom) J. Lueken, 86, left us on September 15, 2023.  Thomas was born in April 1937 to Helen and Ferdinand Lueken.  He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Thomas is survived by Patricia, his loving wife of 55 years, three sons, Thomas J. Jr (Marian), Brian J. (Sandy), and Robert J. (Terri), also known as Bud, Bud, and Bud.  His sister, Sr. M. Judeann (Rhea), several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Nancy and Jo.

He had strong work habits beginning at 11 purchasing a paper corner, then working in a local pharmacy, giving most of his money to his mom.  He graduated from Elder High School, and entered the Air Force serving from 1956 to 1961 as a radio operator.  Tom left the service to pursue a sales career starting in Cincinnati, and leading him to Michigan, where he enjoyed numerous sales positions.  He became a skilled trade blacksmith in the automotive industry.  Hardwork allowed him to enjoy an early retirement. He moved to warmer weather, and resided in Nevada for 33 years, the past 19 years in Pahrump.

Tom enjoyed traveling, gardening, bowling, poker, and mostly enjoyed being at home. He also enjoyed creating all occasion cards for family and friends.

He brought so much happiness and joy to so many of us, and will be deeply missed.

A memorial and celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
