John Paul Bingel Jr passed away on August 28, 2020, in Pahrump, Nevada. John was born on January 23, 1947, in Silverton, Colorado, to John and Lillian Bingel.
John graduated from Fremont County Vocational High School in Lander Wyoming. He became a Petty Officer in the US Navy, and served from 1965-1977. He studied at the Combat System Technical School in Mare Island, Ca. He became a Radio Frequency Instructor, worked for Hughes Space and Communications as a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer, and was an Engineering Supervisor at Connecting Devices, Inc.
John is survived by his wife, Nancy Bingel, his children Weston (Karen) Bingel, Paul Bingel, Thomas (Maroula) Bingel, Carolyn McNamara, and Cheryl Schofield, his grandchildren Mercedes Bingel, Layne Bingel, Casey Bingel, Kameron Bingel, Katheryn Bingel, and Stella Bingel, and his siblings Jerry Ferguson, and Ronald Bingel.
John was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Thomas Bingel, and Robert Bingel.
