Dianna Frey Johnson passed away on September 9, 2020, in Pahrump, Nevada. She was born on April 28, 1958.
She was a kind and loving person, and very well known in the horse community, having set up a horse and burro rescue, as well as being a local 4-H Equestrian leader, and the local brand inspector.
Charities were one of her biggest passions. They include Pahrump Disability Outreach Program, putting smiles on peoples faces with her pony cart, and horse rides at the annual Pumpkin Festival and Parade, taking her beloved therapy pony Dixie and tractor to senior centers around the Pahrump Valley, which brought many laughs and cheers.
She was a member of the Jack Russell Terrier Club , dogs were another of her passions.
She was originally from Fort Bragg, California, studying horse husbandry at Mendocino California College.
She enjoyed making arts and crafts, some were stick horses and beadwork. She also liked camping and mushroom picking in the Oregon mountains.
She is survived by her husband Chris Johnson, two children, Shawna and Brandon McMillen, sister, Jeanne Gettle and brother in law Jack Gettle of California, sister Hazel Parker of Washington, Michael Frey of California, step-mother Shirley Frey, sister in law Ann Johnson, many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
