David Beth Obituary

Chief Petty Officer (Retired) David "Dave" Ray Beth passed away on September 16, 2022.  He was born on February 13, 1948. He is preceded in death by his father William, his mother Grace, his brother Dick, and his sister Donna.  He is survived by his wife Patty, his daughter Stacy (Tim) Amadio, grandchildren Brendan and Sarah, his sons Justin and Chris (Lori), and his step grandchildren Kail, Kyryn, and Karrie.

He had a career that he loved as an Air Traffic Controller and retired from the Navy as a Chief after 23 years.  He continued to work in Air Traffic Control as a civilian contractor and flew Ultralights.

Dave loved theater and was in, and directed, many plays.  Dave had an active radio presence, writing the first four episodes of The Goldfield Chronicles, and hosted or co-hosted several shows including The Blues Cafe, The Healthy Hour, and Radio Tradio.  He was very involved with acting and recently produced and acted in movies.  Dave made his own beer and roasted his own coffee. Dave loved gardening and his pets.  So full of life, he shared his love and loved to make people laugh and had an awesome sense of humor.  There were no strangers, just friends he hadn't met.  He touched a lot of lives and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2:00pm at The Palace (corner of Crook/Sundog), in Goldfield. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
